WZZM13 reports rescuers pulled a 50-year-old man from the Grand River after he jumped off the 6th Street bridge around 5:18 pm Sunday evening.

Police told WZZM 13 that the man appeared to jump in the river after he had an argument on his cell phone.

They don’t have a lot of other info on why the man did what he did.  Police said he was taken to Butterworth Spectrum Hospital with serious injuries and the investigation continues.
