Talk about a tough day, a man gets stabbed then has to drive himself to the hospital.

According to WOOD, there is an investigation in Grand Rapids, Michigan about a man who showed up at the hospital with a stab wound.

The Grands Rapids Police Department say a 31-year-old man drove himself to the hospital after being stabbed multiple times. Police say the man is in critical but stabel condition as of Thursday morning.

So far the investigation points to the stabbing occurring near the intersection of Leonard Street and Fuller Avenue on the northeast side of the city.

Grand Rapids Police Department Sargent, John Wittkowski says the suspect has been described as a female but that is all the information that has been provided thus far.

The investigation into the stabbing is still underway.
