Lollapalooza going outside the U.S.

Long-running rock festival Lollapalooza will hold its first ever event outside the States.

The festival will take place April 2 and 3 in Santiago, Chile.  Founder and Jane's Addiction singer Perry Farrell says he plans to include both Chilean artists with a "musical foreign exchange" featuring acts who would play the annual Chicago event, scheduled for August 5 through 7.  Alternative Press has the details.
