Lakeside Pizza Co. has officially opened at 2009 Lakeshore Drive in Muskegon, taking over the former Rolling Stone Pizza Co. location. While it appears to be under new ownership, the Facebook page seems to be the same one from the old restaurant. Based on comments, Rolling Stone Pizza quietly closed sometime in 2024.

The owners put it simply:

At Lakeside Pizza Co., we believe in keeping things simple and executing them exceptionally well. We're a small, take-out-only pizzeria where the flavors of Italy meet the relaxed rhythm of lake life.

Their menu reflects that approach—simple, fresh, and packed with flavor. Options include The Rita, with San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella, Parmesan, basil, and olive oil. The Lakeside Supreme features house-made sausage, roasted peppers, onions, mushrooms, Pecorino, and olive oil. And the Fun Guy is loaded with mushrooms, caramelized onions, ricotta, balsamic reduction, and plenty of cheese.

For a nod to the past, there’s even The Rolling Stone pizza. It's topped with San Marzano, Parmesan, house-made sausage, Pecorino, and olive oil.
