Kurt Cobain’s Credit Card Going For More Than $26,000
If you've always wanted a gold Visa signed in blue ink by deceased Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain, you better get on it.
The auction for said item closes at Paddle8, a marketplace for collectors of art and memorabilia, at 5 p.m. today.
The current high bid of $26,600 is well over the estimated value of $7,000 to $9,000.
The website claims the card is in excellent condition, and describes it like this:
Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain autographed Visa credit card, signed in blue ballpoint pen. Also handwritten is what appears to be a phone number, next to his signature. Accompanied by a King of Clubs Slot Club credit card holder."
The credit card is part of the site's Legendary: Memorabilia From Rock Gods and Pop Stars collection, which also includes Frank Sinatra's drivers license and a check signed by Jim Morrison.
