Kalamazoo Opens Fire Hydrants During Heat Wave
The city of Kalamazoo is looking to help residents beat the heat during this crazy hot weather.
Wood TV 8 reports that Kalamazoo is opening up fire hydrants to help people keep cool.
Residents can call the Kzoo Public Services Department at 269-337-8418 to request that a hydrant be turned on.
The city says the following hydrants will be open starting at 1p.m. until sunset:
- Interfaith, Building 1038, NW corner
- Burrell Ave. and Lawrence St.
- Krom St. and Clay St.
- Washington Ave. and March St.
- Charlotte and Sherwood
- Clarence St. and Jackson St.
- Norway Ave. and Princeton Ave.
- Fairbanks Ave. and Center St.
- Church St. and Norway Ave.
- Elizabeth St. between Cobb
