Judge Judy will lay down her gavel after 25 seasons end in 2021.

According to FOX 17, Judge Judy Sheindlin may be retiring from her current TV show but won't be off the screen for too long and Judy will launch a new show called Judy Justice.

Sheindlin says once Judge Judy wraps up, she will take a one year break before kicking off her endeavor.

Sheindlin will soon do a guest appearance on Ellen where she will announce her plans on the new show.

Since its inception back in 1996, Judge Judy has been one of the highest rated syndicated programs of all time. The show averages 10 million viewers a day and has won the Daytime Emmy for best legal or courtroom program in 2013, 2016 and 2017.

Sheindlin has done quite well for herself becoming the highest paid personality of television making a cool $47 million per year.

With that kind of money, hopefully Sheindlin takes the best one year off money can buy.
