Jeff Daniels Says, ‘If You Want me, I’ll Be in Michigan’
According to the Detroit Free Press, Jeff Daniels has told Hollywood, "If you want me, I'll be in Michigan".
Daniels appeared on Sunday morning's "Sunday Today with Willie Geist", where he explained that after his career took off, he made the decision to return to his roots, and move to Chelsea, Mich. with his wife and three kids.
1994's Dumb and Dumber got Daniels back into the Hollywood game.
Daniels, an active play writer for his theatre, The Purple Rose, has written 17 plays and his latest show, "Flint," finished its run Saturday.
Daniels will be working again with Aaron Sorkin in the adaptation of Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird. The last time Daniels worked with Sorkin, he won a best actor Emmy for his role in the HBO series The Newsroom.
Previews for To Kill a Mockingbird will begin November 1st with opening night starting December 13.
