You Can Use Your Kent Library Card For More Than Just Books
Growing up, the library was my favorite place in the world.
The library is more than just books, vinyls, and computer access, especially the Kent District Library.
Did you know that your library card can you free access to so much more in Grand Rapids?!
Kent District Library Card
With a Kent District Library card, people who are 18 years old or older are able to receive free one-time admission to popular Grand Rapids attractions.
Plus, the pass is good for up to 6 people, depending on the location you choose.
MLive spoke with the director of engagement at Kent District Library, Randall Goble, about why they launched these passes in 2021.
"We realize there are a lot of families in the community whose income does not always allow them to enjoy a lot of the cultural activities, whether they're exhibits, music, or just a place for the kids to play. It's just a welcome exposure to culture for people who might not otherwise afford it."
