Some residents were disgusted by a post on a local Lapeer Facebook page. The post features a photo of a dead deer being used to slow down traffic.

When I first saw the Lapeer News & Discussion Facebook page post, I assumed it was a copied and shared post. Since everything on the internet is not true, I have no idea if the photo was even taken in Lapeer County.

One person claims to have seen this in Lapee County  just last year,

If someone locally did indeed do this, it seems like an accident waiting to happen. Sure people may slow down, but depending on the conditions, that could cause quite an accident.

Do you know if this was done in Lapeer County, if so, please let me know.

If you have no thoughts on this either way, stand by - many things will be posted on social media that will have you laughing or fuming before you know it.

What a time to be alive! Happy New Year!
