If you've ever dreamed of being a Viking and being able to row into battle...with a mug of mead, then Michigan has a festival that's right up your bearded alley. The 9th annual Michigan Nordic Fire Festival is making its return in Charlotte, MI The weekend of February 23rd through the 25th.

Now obviously, if there are any Anglo-Saxons, Franks, Frisians, Bohemians, Bavarians, and various Slavic tribes of Eastern Europe who live in Michigan, you probably aren't too stoked for the event, but the event is all in good fun and all are invited to partake in the festivities, which the event page has laid out:

This year's theme is all about Sleipnir, who was Odin's horse, which was gifted to Odin by Loki. The Michigan Nordic Fire Festival was created in 2016 to celebrate winter, fire, family, and fun.
