Former MSU Doctor Larry Nassar Stabbed In Prison

The Associated Press is reporting that former Michigan State University and USA Gymnastics doctor, and convicted sexual abuser Larry Nassar (pictured) has been stabbed in a Florida federal prison.

The AP says that Nassar was attacked on Sunday by another prisoner and was stabbed twice.  The AP also says that Nassar is in stable condition after the altercation in a Florida hospital.

Nassar is serving multiple sentences after being convicted of child pornography and committing sexual assault on multiple gymnasts, including Olympic medalists, back in 2017.

After his sentence in an Arizona prison began, he was attacked by another inmate.  Nassar was then subsequently transferred to a Florida jail, where he is currently.

Michigan State University agreed to pay $500 million to over 300 of Nassar's victims, alleged or otherwise, back in 2018.
