Danger! Ticks Seem to Be Everywhere in Michigan!
Ticks are no fun, in fact pure danger to us humans. These sneaky little pests seem to turn up everywhere and if they turn up on you they are nothing to mess with and ignore.
I should know because I found one lodged on me. It was is a place I would never have suspected. It was on my scalp, in my hair! Yikes!
I ignored it for a few days thinking it was just a bump or spider bite. But when is didn't go away I asked my wife, Susie, to take a look, and all hell broke loose. She went crazy, grabbed some tweezers and was able to pull it out, in tact. Yikes, again!
Here is my creepy crawler!

How did that happen? I have no idea, but it is always a scary situation and needs to be addressed immediately!
What did I do? Susie treated the tick spot with rubbing alcohol. I called my Doc, talked to a nurse, had an appointment the next day to look it over, and just to be safe and not wait for symptoms to develop, never a good thing in my book, was prescribed Doxycycline to be proactive against possible Lyme Disease.
