Big Book Drive for Kids Coming to DeVos Performance Hall

So many great shows come to our DeVos Performance Hall, not the least of which is Broadway Grand Rapids' The Lion King, on stage for one more week, wrapping up it's three-week run this coming weekend.

And the fun just keeps on coming as Sunday, May 3, Dog Man The Musical will be on stage, Sunday only.

Since Dog Man appeals to young families and children, DeVos Performance decided to team up with the Kent District Library to host a book drive.

There are many families and children that have a tough time getting books to have for their home, so this book drive will surely help with that.

Prior to the show, new and gently used books will be collected in the outer lobby of the performance hall to support local families and community members.

And something cool about the book drive is that anyone who donates a book to the drive can sign up to win tickets to see Bluey’s Big Play in August at DeVos Performance Hall. All items collected will be donated to Kent District Library.
