George Lessens Has Been On Air In West Michigan For Over 40 Years
George Lessens began his career at 13 ON YOUR SIDE in 1980 as a weekend meteorologist.
From 1985 through 1991, he anchored weekday morning weathercasts before returning to the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. weekend newscasts.
West Michigan has been so lucky to have George for the past 40+ years on our TV and in our community.
I'm so glad that George is giving everyone a heads-up so we still have time to catch his forecasts before he retires later this year around late November to early December.
