Short’s Brewing Is Throwing a Big 21st Birthday Bash This Weekend in Bellaire
What do you do when you finally turn 21? You celebrate, of course. Maybe with a few drinks, some good music, and of course you invite a whole lot of friends.
And that’s exactly what Short’s Brewing Company is doing this weekend.

Michigan’s largest independent craft brewery is officially 21 years old, and they’re throwing a massive birthday bash, Up North-style. This Saturday, Short’s is hosting a special edition of its beloved “Anni Party” in Bellaire, and they’re going all in. The event will also feature a pre-party on Friday, because no good birthday is celebrated in 24 hours.
Longtime fans of Short’s will be happy to hear that classics like Huma Lupa Licious, Local’s Light, Bellaire Brown, and Soft Parade are coming out to party. They've also made a special beer to celebrate the holiday, that you can already sample:
It’s not just about beer, though. This is the kind of laid-back, music-filled, community-centered celebration that Northern Michigan does best. They said they picked this weekend because up north, the last weekend of April is always the official time to celebrate winter ending, so why not do it with a birthday party. They'll also have some great acts playing:

Short’s has always made its anniversary a reason to gather, but this one is worth showing up to because turning 21 is a milestone worth raising a glass to. And if you want all the details, from the band lineup to the food trucks, head to the brewery’s website.
