
Police Investigation Leads To Child Porn Charges For Michigan Man
The Michigan State Police Department have recently charged a Fruitport Township man for Child Pornography.
Justin James-Charles Hess is facing three counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and three counts of using a computer to commit a crime.

According to MSP, Hess was uploading files of child pornography onto the internet.
The Michigan State Police have a computer crimes division and they have shared some great resources that parents can use when speaking to their kids about Internet safety.

How Parents In Michigan Can Keep Their Child Safe When Online
There is no way to 100% guarantee that your child is safe online unless they never go online.
Since that's not realistic, here are some things all parents in Michigan should discuss with their children regarding internet safety.
Don't Give Out Personal Information: This includes things like their phone number, home address and where they go to school.
Never Send Pictures To Strangers: It's easy for an online predator to pretend to be someone else that's your Childs age and ask them to send a picture of themselves.
Keep Passwords Private: If your child shares passwords and other personal information online it could give others access, exposing them to potential risks like cyberbullying, identity theft, online predators and more.
