These Are 3 New Year’s Resolutions Michiganders Should Make In 2023
We're a few days into 2023 and I've been thinking about what want I to do with this fresh start.
I talked to co-workers about their resolutions and found we had similar goals.
We want to focus on improving our health by eating better and working out more.
Along with that we also want to be better with our finances.
Personally, I want to work on being on time for things.
I always think I'll have more time and end up arriving late leaving my friends and family waiting.
While the New Year's Resolutions I mentioned are great, I have a few that all Michiganders should also do in 2023
These Are 3 New Year's Resolutions Michiganders Should Make In 2023
#1 Learn How To Zipper Merge
I don't know why everyone wants to play traffic cop or flip me the bird when properly trying to zipper merge.
I guess they don't understand how it works and think I'm trying to cut in late.
In the zipper merge, drivers use both lanes of the highway until the point where one lane ends and then take turns merging into the single lane, just like a zipper closing.

#2 Return Your Shopping Cart
I'll never understand how someone that has no physical limitations can be so selfish and lazy to not return a shopping cart to the cart corral.

#3 Talking On Speakerphone In Public
Back in the day, it was a big no-no to talk on speakerphone and subject everyone to your conversation but I swear it seems to be the norm with more and more people.
I have no problem with you taking a call if it's needed, but there's no reason for it to be on speaker for every person in a 20-foot radius to hear your conversation.
