Grand Rapids Golfer Sets Record For Most Holes Played In Marathon

It usually takes us three to four hours to complete a round of 18 holes, and by the time were done and taking our golf shoes off and putting our bags in the car I'm usually pretty tired and sore, that's why when I saw what a Grand Rapids man was able to recently do I was blown away.

Grand Rapids Golfer Plays 361 Holes In A  Single Day

Back on Saturday June 21st, Bradley Lardie took part took part in First Tee - West Michigan's 2025 Golf Marathon Fundraiser.

These golf marathons help raise money so children and teens can learn about the game of golf, regardless of their families' financial situation.

Lardie started his marathon golf session as the sun was coming up at Eastern Hills Golf Course in Kalamazoo County around 6:00 AM. Later that night, around 10:00 PM, he took his last shot of the day completing an incredible 361 holes in a single day.

To put this golf marathon in perspective, Lardie played 20 complete rounds of golf, and took around 2,000 shots to complete the impressive feat.

Lardie told Fox 17 that if it weren't for First Tee he would have never stepped foot on a golf course.
