It doesn't matter what sport you play, we all know that 'team work makes the dream work'.

And that spirit of teamwork is exactly what is keeping an Eastern Michigan University football player on the field this season.

Each team is given 85 scholarships, and no matter how much you email, call or beg, they won't give you an extra one.

So, when all of the students were awarded their money earlier this summer, one student said that he may not be able to stay on the team due to financial hardship.

Soon to be senior Zach Conti loves his team and playing football, and over the past few seasons he's taken to selling plasma and finding other ways to make ends meet so he could continue playing on the team.

But he admitted that this year it may not be possible to keep playing under these circumstances without a little extra help. That's when his team captain Brian Dooley stepped in to save the day.

According to a video that is now going viral, Head Coach Chris Creighton shared the story of how Brian walked into his office to help his teammate.

Coach Creighton shared that Dooley had spoken to his family about giving up his own scholarship so that his teammate could continue to play on the team:

And if that isn't the definition of 'team work makes the dream work', I don't know what is.

Coach Creighton should be proud of his team for sticking together when it matters, even off the field, and here's hoping they have an amazing season- because they deserve it.
