
FBI Joins Investigation Into Newborn Found Dead at Electric Forest – Reward Now Offered
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has joined the Michigan State Police in its ongoing investigation into the newborn baby that was found deceased at Electric Forest Festival on June 28, 2026.

The newborn was discovered in a porta-potty by an employee of the porta-potty company. Since then, rumors and speculation have swirled online, but police have continued their investigation.
It was determined that the newborn was born alive.
Investigators Want to Know: Who Left the Baby in the Porta-Potty at Electric Forest?
Thus far, the investigation has not turned up the person responsible for leaving the baby in the porta-potty. Our news partners at FOX-17 reported last week that Michigan State Police had spoken to a potential suspect, but were able to rule her out as the mother of the baby.

Now the FBI is involved and is asking anyone who might have information to assist them in "identifying and apprehending those responsible."
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $15,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the people responsible for the newborn's death.
