On Monday night against the Baltimore Orioles a wild chase took place on the field.

It wasn't a streaking fan looking for their 15 minutes of fame, instead it was a little black squirrel that had breakaway speed like Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs.

It took several grounds crew members to finally catch the runaway rodent by tossing a towel on it.

The other crazy thing that happened recently at Comerica Park has only ever happened once before in the history of Major League Baseball.

Detroit Tigers Did Something That Hasn't Happened Since 1935

The Detroit Tigers bats came alive on Tuesday, beating the Orioles 14-0.

The Tigers scored at least one run in every inning that they were up to bat and shutout the other team.

This is only the second time since 1900 that this happened.

The other team to do this amazing feat was the Pirates, back on September 6, 1935 when they beat the Brooklyn Dodgers.

I love that the Tigers were able to do something so rare in the history of the game but I would love it even more if they could be consistent and keep on winning.

The Tigers blew a 7-0 lead earlier today against the Orioles and ended up losing in extra innings 10-9
