The West Michigan Sports Commission’s baseball and softball complex in Rockford is now officially called the Meijer Sports Complex. It's part of a 10-year partnership between the two West Michigan organizations.

Since 2014, the complex has hosted dozens of events, bringing $28 million in economic activity to Kent County. For it's first 5 years, Art Van Furniture had naming rights to the complex.

Meijer President & CEO Rick Keyes told WZZM,

"This partnership with the West Michigan Sports Commission represents our commitment to enriching lives in the communities we serve. The complex is already a staple in the lives of many West Michigan families, and we look forward to seeing it continue to bring joy and spirited competition to the community for years to come.”

The complex has 2 quads with 8 fields total.  Currently the fields hold various weekend tournaments in partnership with Game Day USA, USSSA, Blue Chip Softball, Meijer State Games of Michigan, VetSports, and USA Softball.
