Is It Time For Grand Rapids Voters To Make Marijuana Possession Lowest Priority’ For Law Enforcement?

A group in Kalamazoo, Michigan called The Kalamazoo Coalition for Pragmatic Cannabis Laws is turning in signatures trying to make possession of marijuana the lowest priority for law enforcement in Kalamazoo.  The intent is to give law enforcement officials more free time to work on more serious crime issues.  There is is a similar movement in Detroit What do you think of the proposed laws?  Is it time for Grand Rapids to consider? Would it ease time burdened law enforcement officials or is it an attempt to get the legalization of marijuana one step closer?
