As evidenced in an image showing all smiles among the country star, his actress wife and the members of Iron Maiden, singer Keith Urban and Oscar winner Nicole Kidman took in a concert from the English metal veterans in Nashville when the band performed at Bridgestone Arena Monday (Aug. 20).

Obviously a big fan of the band, the New Zealand singer-songwriter who recently covered Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" gave high praise to Maiden when he shared the group pic the following day. See the photo of Urban and Kidman with the rockers who first introduced metal to MTV down toward the bottom of this post.

"To the entire @ironmaiden team," Urban wrote in the caption, "where do i begin?....... You were ALL beyond hospitable- and quite honestly it was a surreal dream come true for me (us) to meet you guys- AND then when u hit the stage....???- HOLY SHIT...... I told Nic 'you wanna see THE MASTERS?- here they are'... and you delivered a fucking ATOMIC EXPLOSION of EVERYTHING that makes you THE GREATEST. The playing- the arrangements- the set list- the sound, the lighting- EDDY!!!!- and BRUUUUUUUUCE- good God man- you’re super human. ALL HAIL THE MATCHLESS, THE PEERLESS IRON MAIDEN. - KU"

Talk about a glowing review. The show was part of band's ongoing "Legacy of the Beast" tour, which kicked off its North American leg last month. It continues into September before culminating with a run of three concerts in Mexico. (See the remaining dates below.) But in Music City Monday, Iron Maiden were clearly feeling the love from concertgoers and celebrity attendees alike.

"Obviously, tonight, it's a bit of a celebration of everything that's been going on for a few years," frontman Bruce Dickinson said, as reported by The Tennessean. "We are getting on a bit. By my calculation, if the United States started in 1776, we're (expletive) older than that."
