This is the best news that Grand Rapidians can receive on National Junk Food Day.

If you're a cookie lover or have a sweet tooth, Insomnia Cookies is the spot! The cookie shop known for staying open into the wee hours of the night

.(hence the name) has just opened a new location in Downtown Grand Rapids. This marks their 7th location in Michigan. They shared the exciting news on Facebook.

To celebrate their grand opening, they'll be offering sweet deals all week long that you should definitely take advantage of:

  • Get 1 free traditional cookie in store through 7/27
  • Buy a 6-pack for only $6 in-store & online through Thursday 7/23
  • Free local delivery with code FREE4GR (valid 7/24 through 7/27)
  • Frontline workers from Butterworth Hospital and Mercy Health can receive 25% off their entire order with a special frontline promo code. If you’re a frontline worker at one of these hospitals, email marketing@insomniacookies.com to get your promo code.

Insomnia Cookies is currently open for walk-in, curbside pickup, and delivery.

If you weren't already craving a cookie, take a look at their menu and your stomach will tell you otherwise. They offer traditional cookies such as chocolate chip to deluxe cookies like confetti. If you feel like being a little *extra* splurge on an ice cream sandwich, or hell... go for a whole cookie cake. You can definitely have your cake and eat it too in this case.

Most people like to hit up Taco Bell after a drunk night out but I remember going to Insomnia Cookies quite often back when I attended MSU. They obviously know what the college kids want considering they're mostly found on campuses throughout the nation, including Allendale, home of Grand Valley State University.

Insomnia cookies is located at 44 Ionia Ave. SW and is open until 12 a.m. Sunday-Wednesday and 1 a.m. Thursday-Saturday. According to WZZM, they plan on extending those hours when state restrictions are lifted. They typically stay open until 3 a.m.
