Hollywood Undead are teasing a song featuring contributions from members of Papa Roach and Ice Nine Kills.

The tune in question appears to be a new version of "Heart of a Champion," a track that previously emerged as part of the rap-rock group's latest studio effort, New Empire, Vol. 1. The album version, however, didn't flaunt any featured vocalists. But it looks like that will change come this Friday (Oct. 16), however.

That's the date that Hollywood Undead have plastered across social media with a link that points to a webpage where listeners can pre-add and pre-save the upcoming single. When one lands on the page, "Heart of a Champion (ft. Papa Roach and Ice Nine Kills)" is the song title that's listed plainly.

As for the teaser itself, it's a video featuring a section of the tune along with graphics emulating classic video games. There's also some obscured footage of a person who looks like it could be Papa Roach singer Jacoby Shaddix, indicating that a music video could accompany the single on Friday.

"The story continues…" Hollywood Undead prod in the post.

Could the new version of "Heart of a Champion" lead to a New Empire sequel? The second installment of the album series has yet to be released. However, over the summer, Hollywood Undead dropped a fresh track called "Idol" (featuring rapper Tech N9ne) that was said to be from New Empire, Vol. 2. The tunes "The End / Undead" (a split selection with Zero 9:36) and "Coming Home" followed.

See the teaser below, and get ready for the Hollywood Undead collab with Papa Roach and Ice Nine Kills to drop in just a few short days.
