Have You Heard About the Paul Bunyon Breakfast Challenge?
There are a lot of food challenges out there but the Paul Bunyon looks like a lot of fun to try and delicious to eat.
Paul Bunyon
The origins of Paul Bunyan are still unknown but the odds are someone in a lumber camp around the Great Lakes came up with this piece of folklore. There is a French Canadian lore about Mr. Bunyan but other's say he could have come from Minnesota since the Duluth News Tribune was the first to publish the stories.
Not to be confused with the Paul Bunyan trophy or Paul Bunyan, Michigan, but the lore is he is a giant lumberjack with superhuman strength and is accompanied by Babe the Blue Ox which is his pet and working buddy. Anything to do with Bunyan is big.

Paul Bunyan Breakfast Challenge
The above picture is the Paul Bunyan I am talking about. There is a restaurant in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, called Elly's. They serve this giant pancake with eggs, bacon, sausage, more bacon, and more eggs, and give you an eye to eat this gigantic breakfast.
This picture above really gives you the beastie size of this breakfast. If you think you can pull off eating this bad boy breakfast, Elly's is at 174 W Weidman Rd. Weidman, Michigan, near Mt. Pleasant. If you can eat this in under an hour, you get the $16 breakfast for free, they will give you a sweet t-shirt, and then add you to the wall of fame that now only has 2 people on it.

Food challenge eater Randy Santel pulled off the Paul Bunyan in under an hour and was only the second person to complete this giant breakfast. If you want to see Randy devour the Paul Bunyan in less than 30 minutes click here.
