Harmony Hall Near Bridge St. Closing But, Will it be For Good?
Harmony Brewing Company has a location that is near Bridge Street in Grand Rapids and will be closing its doors in early October.
Octoberfest
Normally when you think of beer and October, you are thinking of some sort of Octoberfest celebration or some new limited fall brews from your favorite local brewery.
Octoberfest or a new line of fall brews will not be happening for a Grand Rapids brewery and one of their locations that have been around for seven years.
Harmony Hall is Closing
Harmony Hall has been a staple since 2015 for those who grabbed a bar stool or table at 401 Stocking Ave NW, in Grand Rapids.
Harmony Hall was actually an expansion project for Harmony Brewing Company which already had a location in Eastown called Harmony Eastown.
Harmony Hall opened because Harmony Eastown was doing so well, Harmony Brewing Company needed a new place to keep the beer flowing.
Harmony Hall soon became a ten-barrel system with five large fermentation tanks. When the new location opened Harmony Hall had 30 beers you could get on tap and soon became a popular hangout near Bridge Street for beer enthusiasts.
According to a Facebook post from Harmony Brewing Company, that read:
The exciting part of this post is, that Harmony Brewing Company has outgrown the Harmony Hall location and will be moving to a new location. The new location has not been made public yet.
The good news is, that many of the events that were scheduled for Harmony Hall will be moving to their Harmony Eastown location so patrons won't miss a beat of their favorite events.
Until Harmony Hall closes its doors in early October, go see them and enjoy an ice cold brew and maybe the bartender or server will give you some insight on where the new location might be.
