
GRPD Ask For Help Identifying Plainfield Ave. Gas Pump Skimmer Suspect

The Grand Rapids Police Department is asking for help identifying a man believed to be involved in a gas pump skimming scheme at a Marathon station on Plainfield Avenue near Knapp Street, WZZM-13 reports.
GRPD believe it is a two-man team, they said in a release.
The men were caught on camera pulling up to a pump around 10:30p.m. on Saturday, June 11. One buys something inside, while the other appears to tamper with the pump.
Later, a card skimming device was found inside the pump.
The suspects' vehicle is described as a gold or silver Chrysler or Dodge mini van, possibly from the mid-2000s.
