Popular West Michigan Tavern Expands With New Restaurant and Bar in Zeeland
A popular West Michigan bar and restaurant has opened a new eatery with innovative dishes in a chic, inviting atmosphere in Zeeland.
Scott Ingersoll, owner of Mill Creek Tavern in Comstock Park is behind The Gritzmaker at 120 E. Main Ave.

According to the restaurant's website, The Gritzmaker is focused on "creating memories, sharing moments, and bringing people together through the power of exceptional food."
As of July 1, 2024, The Gritzmaker is officially open! The new restaurant is open for lunch, dinner, late night drinks. The Gritzmaker is social district licensed, so you can stop in for a drink to-go too!
Speaking of drinks, on the menu you'll find a variety of Irish cocktails like Irish Coffee, the Irish Mule, and a the Lucky Leprechaun. Other cocktails include House-Made-Sangria, Margaritas, Martinis, and Mojitos. There's also beer, wine, and a selection of Bourbon, Scotch, and Whiskey.
For food, The Gritzmaker aims to take you on a gastronomic journey. Appetizers include Wings, Pickle Fries, Queso Nachos, and a full pound of onion rings. You'll find soup and salad, plus a ton of burger options, like the MCT (Mill Creek Tavern) Bacon and Swiss, the Olive Burger, and the Bacon Jam Burger.
There's also Deli Sandwiches, Wraps, The Mill Creek Club, and the Reuben. Entrees include Top Sirloin, Kebobs, Firecracker Salmon, Beef Wet Burrito, Firecracker Salmon and more.
The Gritzmaker is open Monday through Thursday 11a.m. to 11p.m, Friday and Saturday 11.m. to 12p.m., and closed Sundays.
