Last Week For Downtown Grand Rapids Scavenger Hunt
With the debut concert of the Acrisure Amphitheater come and go, it officially means we are over halfway through the month of May. If you were one of those people walking downtown over the weekend, or have just been in the city anytime in the last month, you may have noticed the various window decals hung up in businesses around Grand Rapids.

Those are all part of the "Peace It Together" scavenger hunt that has been going on downtown since mid-April, and if you haven't been able to partake in the fun, time is quickly running out to try and win some prizes before the event wraps up this weekend.
Last Week For "Peace It Together" Scavenger Hunt
Since April 17th, a variety of illustrations created by local artist Dorelle Henri have been placed throughout downtown GR, each with a QR code linking to it. These codes include challenges for each drawing, with leaderboards to see who has found everything. There are 24 challenges around the city, with extra challenges sprinkled in.

To participate in the challenge, download the Goosechase app, search for “Peace it Together, Scavenger Hunt," create a team, and complete the challenge by May 23rd for a chance to win prizes. There's still plenty of time to go searching for everything, and with Michigan finally feeling like summer, there's no perfect time like the present.
This was made possible by Downtown Grand Rapids Inc.'s Activate Grants, which invite artists to apply for funding for activities that bring people to and around the city.
This is an excellent example of what happens when the city invites community members to propose new ways to enjoy our city.
