Grand Rapids Pulaski Days 2012
Pulaski Days is held annually in Grand Rapids over the first full weekend of October.
There's a parade, polka, live music, and a whole lot of great food! Choose from kielbasa, paczki, golumbki, kapusta, pierogi, and maybe a few drinks too.

Pulaski Days celebrates Polish heritage by honoring General Casimir Pulaski who was a Revolutionary War hero.
The celebration has already begun with kielbasa and pierogi eating contests, plus a flag raising ceremony, but this weekend Pulaski Days get really busy. Highlights include:
- Thursday - Golumbki eating contest at Sixth Street Hall. 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
- Friday - Food and Polka begins at 15 clubs in Grand Rapids.
- Saturday - Pulaski Parade at 11:00am. Parade runs east down Michigan Street from College to Diamond.
- Sunday - Polka Mass at 11:00am at John Ball Park Bandshell. Bring a lawn chair. In case of bad weather - Mass moves to Knights of Columbus #3104 at 11:15am.
