Grand Rapids Pickle Festival Promises a Dill-icious Time This Weekend
Love pickles? This is the event for you!
In the past few years, pickles really seem to be having a moment. Seems like it started with pickle pizza, and now they're everywhere - popcorn, ice cream, even pickle beer. There's just something about the sour, salty, tangy flavor, and crunch of pickles that so many people crave.

Well, the almighty pickle is going to celebrated thoroughly in Grand Rapids this weekend.
Ed Dunneback & Girls Fruit Farm is hosting "Pickle Fest" August 2 through 4.
The farm is a longtime staple in Grand Rapids! Edwin Dunneback bought the farm in Alpine Township in 1922. They began with apples, peaches, corn hay, and a hear of dairy cows. Now the fourth generation of Dunnebacks operate the farm, which has grown to include u-pick asparagus, strawberries, cherries, apples, and pumpkins. You'll also find a fresh produce market, gift shoppe, bakery, kitchen, and taproom - and lots of fun events, like Pickle Fest!
