Grand Rapids Downtown Market is such a cool place that highlights local food, drinks, and treats! It's awesome to see it in the running for "Best Public Market in America" in a USA Today and 10Best Readers, Poll.

A panel of experts has nominated 20 markets across the U.S. and now it's up to us to vote.

Here is USA Today's praise for Grand Rapids Downtown Market:

The Grand Rapids Downtown Market brings together more than 20 vendors with two full-service restaurants, plus an outdoor market shed where dozens more artisans can sell their wares during special events. The space also includes a rentable Incubator Kitchen, rooftop greenhouses and a kid-friendly demonstration kitchen.

The Grand Rapids Downtown Market opened at 435 Iona Ave. SW in 2013, "with the mission to be a vibrant gathering place offering dynamic food-centered experiences, education, and entrepreneurship opportunities dedicated to a healthier community and economy."

Currently the Downtown Market is home to more than ten restaurants, like Pho616, Slows Bar-B-Q, and Tacos El Cunado. You can get fresh seafood at Fish Lads and meats from Carvers. Enjoy a glass of wine and a delicious bite at Apertivo, and don't forget about the sweet treats at Love's Ice Cream and baked goods from Field & Fire.

Two other Michigan markets are in the running in USA Today's poll too:

You can vote for your favorite public market once per day through noon ET April 12 here.
