Basketball Training in Grand Rapids
If you are a student-athlete looking to improve your game, move on to play in college, or even the pros, where do you go in West Michigan to get the proper training? There is a Grand Rapids-area man who is setting up a permanent facility for young athletes to begin training.
UTS Sports Training was created in 2017 by Marcus Lancaster. Lancaster is currently building a permanent training facility in Grand Rapids to train young athletes from all around Michigan and the Midwest and someday nationally or possibly internationally.
Until the permanent facility is up and running, you can still train with Lancaster by contacting him here. He is currently training players at area school gyms with one on one or in small groups, so you don't have to wait until the new facility is completed to get started.
Lancaster's main goal is to help student-athletes reach their potential and enter college with a basketball scholarship. Many of his students have already gone on to play in college and the pros.
Marcus Lancasters Basketball Qualifications
WOOD reported, Marcus Lancaster has played basketball across the United States and around the world. Played Division 2 basketball at the University of Montevallo then professionally in both the International and American Basketball Association.
Lancaster spent 4 years coaching young athletes in Atlanta, Georgia before moving back to Michigan. His goal is to get student-athletes to the next level.
