According to WOOD TV, Goodrich High School football announcer Dan Sellers collapsed near the end of a playoff game seconds before the end of the game. Goodrich was playing against Dearborn Divine Child in Rochester Hills. Sellers, a retired teacher who served as the school’s home-game football and basketball announcer, was on the sidelines supporting the team on the road.

When Sellers fell to the ground, bystanders immediately attempted to help by performing CPR and using an automated external defibrillator until paramedics could arrive. When EMTS got there, they were able to get Sellers' pulse. Unfortunately, he passed away and a nearby hospital.
