USA Today explains that glamping (or glamourous camping) "combines the minimalistic nature of camping with modern amenities and creature comforts."
A panel of experts chose the top 20 glamping retreats in the U.S. and then it was put up to a public vote.
Michigan's Beaver Island Retreat came in as the No. 3 best glamping spot in the entire country! The resort lies on Beaver Island in Lake Michigan between the Lower and Upper Peninsula.
