Haunted Locations In Michigan Ghost Adventures Should Investigate

Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel has been one of my guilty-pleasure shows since I was a kid. Mind you, when I was a kid, I had to stop watching it because it made me afraid to go into the basement. But now, as an adult, I'm back to watching Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, and the rest of the Ghost Adventures crew.

There's plenty to watch, too: the show has been on air since 2008 and is currently on its 30th season. Throughout its 18-year run, the GA crew has traveled across the United States and conducted a decent number of investigations overseas.

During a recent rewatch, I wanted to see where in Michigan the crew has investigated and stumbled across something pretty surprising: no episode of Ghost Adventures is set in Michigan, even though the state appears on lists that put it in the top 5 for ghost sightings.

It's even more surprising, considering that a paranormal experience in 2002 while he was studying at the Motion Picture Institute of Michigan in Trenton spurred him to create his original Ghost Adventures documentary in 2006. This documentary became the basis for the television show. He discusses this experience and shows where it happened at the beginning of that documentary, which you can view below.

I'm not sure if that's why he's avoided the Great Lakes State, or if they just deemed Michigan not haunted enough. Either way, I've found some recommendations for spooky spots the crew should investigate.
