Forty years is incredible for any rock band.

George Thorogood & The Destroyers have been rockin' for four decades. These are the guys who gave us "Bad to the Bone," "I Drink Alone," "Who Do You Love?" and "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer." This is ultimate classic rock with metal along with some blues and country mashed in.

The band's 40th anniversary tour kicks off Feb. 27 in Las Vegas. While it doesn't have any Michigan dates, it has a July 12 concert at Blue Chip Casino & Hotel in Michigan City, Ind.

Hitting the U.S. and Canada, the tour's U.S. legs are Feb. 27 to March 22 and June 19 to July 20. The band is in Canada from April 30 to May 24.

George Thorogood and his longtime band The Destroyers has a lineup currently including Jeff Simon (drums, percussion), Bill Blough (bass guitar), Jim Suhler (rhythm guitar) and Buddy Leach (saxophone). They have released 16 studio albums, with two platinum albums and six gold albums; and their most recent album is "Live at Montreux." The group first performed Dec. 1, 1973.
