The Free Beer and Hot Wings Show performed their Live at Night show over the weekend at Devos Performance Hall and it was a lot of laughs for all.
Live at Night Recap
The Free Beer & Hot Wings Show performed at the DeVos on Saturday night of Easter weekend. It was a beautiful day that turned into a night filled with laughter.
A little dressing room time for the Free Beer and Hot Wings Show before greeting the VIPs.
The show spent close to an hour answering questions from fans who purchases premium tickets that also came with an autographed poster, drinks, and snacks. Fans can ask the show anything, and they do, the Q&A is almost a mini Live at Night show in itself.
Every year the FBHWs show put together an intro video before they come out on stage. This year's video was hilarious and not to spoil it for the other markets that have not seen it yet, I will only say it is AI themed and you laughed hard if you were there or will laugh hard when you see the show. It was very funny and well done.
When FBHWs come out on stage they greet the audience and start the show similar to their radio show with back-and-forth banter between the hosts and yes, the audience too.
I don't want to give away the games they played on stage but one thing that is really cool is the audience participation that goes on during the show. Fans don't just go to the show, many become a part of it and the beautiful thing is, the fans tend to own it and everyone has a good time.
A character played by Free Beer by the name of Johnny John made an appearance. Johnny is a game show host with an old personality that you will love to hate but it makes for a fun game show parody.
Fans who wind up on stage could be asked just about anything and I would love to reveal what was going on during this part of the show but I don't think I'm allowed to put that in print so you will just have to go see the show sometime.
This was the fourth Live at Night show that I have seen and in my book, I feel it was the best one yet. The audience laughed from the intro of the show all the way to the very end and made for a great night for all in attendance.
It's amazing to see a radio show have thousands of people who will fill up a theater to spend an evening with the show. The passion of the Free Beer and Hot Wings audience is fun to witness as well.
