Earlier in the week, "The Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show" posted the video of what the Internet community almost unanimously declared to be the worst version of "The Star-Spangled Banner" ever by the band Madison Rising before the start of the Nationwide race last Saturday in Daytona, Fla.

Billed by NASCAR as "America's most patriotic band", Madison Rising quickly became a household name as social media blew up, with most of the press being negative.

Eric Zane, not satisfied with the amount of hate that the band was already getting, took to Twitter to additionally troll them. After a three-hour Twitter war, Zane finally got one of the band members to agree to pass along the studio hotline number to lead singer Dave Bray.

"The Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show" didn't expect anything to come of it. But this morning during a commercial break, Bray called in to respond to the criticism the band has been receiving since Saturday.
