Free Beer & Hot Wings: Janice Dickinson Is Latest Bill Cosby Accuser [Video]
In an "Entertainment Tonight" interview, television personality and former supermodel Janice Dickinson became the next person to speak out against comedian-actor-entertainer Bill Cosby, alleging she was raped by Cosby in a Lake Tahoe hotel room in 1982.
Dickinson claims she was invited in 1982 to Lake Tahoe by Cosby, who was performing there at the time.
She says he wanted to talk to her about a job offer and also give her some career advice.
After he performed, they went back to his hotel room, where she says she was drugged and raped. According to Dickinson, she was given "wine and a pill" and the last thing she remembers is Cosby dropping his robe and climbing on top of her. She awoke the next day in the bed, wearing nothing.
Cosby’s lawyer released a statement Sunday regarding rape allegations recently resurfacing against him, CNN reported. In the statement, John P. Schmitt called the allegations “decades-old” and “discredited.” Schmitt said Cosby would not be dignifying the allegations with a comment.
“He would like to thank all his fans for the outpouring of support and assure them that, at age 77, he is doing his best work," the statement said. “There will be no further statement from Mr. Cosby or any of his representatives.”
