Michigan Restaurant Featured On Gordon Ramsay Show, Closes A Month Later
If you want to add 30 more levels of stress to your day, turn on the TV and watch 48 minutes of disaster as Gordon Ramsay gets into shouting matches with owners and sees restaurants in utter disarray. But the goal is well-intentioned: to help a struggling restaurant get back on its feet.

Ramsay has gone to nearly 100 restaurants over the years. The most recent season of Kitchen Nightmares just wrapped up, and the season finale featured a restaurant from here in Michigan. Despite Ramsay's best efforts, it looks like things didn't go too well once the cameras were off.

One Redditor has made it his mission to visit each restaurant after it airs, and he made a startling discovery. Just two weeks after airing, the restaurant has already closed.

That included Firenze Restaurant and Pizzeria in Warren. A small sign on the door says "CLOSED Permanently" along with a note from the health department. From the looks of the building, it has been closed for a while...because it has.

The episode was filmed in June of last year, and according to Weirdfish1995, it closed a month later. The episode aired on September 15th, but the restaurant won't get the usual boost in business that comes with being featured on the show.
This is a trend among businesses featured in Kitchen Nightmares, though it can't be blamed on Ramsay. Many of these restaurants were already on the brink of closure before he arrived. Only 30% of the restaurants that have appeared on the show are still open. You can watch Kitchen Nightmares on Hulu/Disney+ now.
