As the North American International Auto Show gets underway in Detroit, we find out more jobs are coming to Michigan!

Fiat Chrysler announced Sunday that they will bring 2,000 jobs to Michigan and Ohio as they invest $1 billion in plants in the two states.

The investments will help outfit the Warren Truck Assembly Plant to start making the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer.  They also plan to start building the Ram heavy duty truck at the plant rather than in Mexico, where it’s currently manufactured.

In Ohio, Fiat Chrysler will outfit the Toledo Assembly plant to start producing a new Jeep pickup truck.

This comes just after Ford announced that it would invest in plants here in America, rather than Mexico and will add another 700 jobs.
