Check Out Michigan State’s Incredible $51 Million Basketball Facility
I make no secret of the fact that I'm a huge fan of Michigan State basketball. It's a love I adopted from my dad, and, like many of us, I have felt incredibly spoiled to be a fan of a team that has been in the NCAA March Madness tournament every year of my life (a 27-year streak!).

You don't become one of the most prestigious programs in college basketball without good staff and good facilities. For the first time in a while, fans have gotten an in-depth tour inside the university's $51 million basketball facility. I'm talking AI-shot tracking basketballs, backboards that critique your shots, and more.
Inside The Training Facility
Todd Anderson, a former MSU walk-on football player from 2007-2011 and the Founder, CEO, and Director of Dream Recovery, was recently given a tour of the training facility before speaking to the women's basketball team about the importance of sleep. Assistant Coach Maria Kasza led the tour and showcased some of the state-of-the-art technology the Spartans use.
Recruiting room
Maria revealed that the recruiting room is where many of the players hang out and eat their pre-game meals.
Practice Gym - "Draymond bought it."
This is where the "state-of-the-art" part of the facility is on full display. Inside the practice gym are basketballs that have shot trackers in them, where a chip tracks every shot they take, where they shoot from, and whether they made or missed the shot.
If you thought that was cool, the backboards give them a run for their money. The backboards have cameras installed in them that record and verbally critique the arch and form of the shooter. It's fascinating, and it also delivered the best line in the entire video.
Todd: "How much did all this cost?"
Maria: "I don't know. Draymond bought it."
Maria and Todd went on to showcase more of the facility, including the recovery rooms, the Draymond Green Strength and Conditioning Center, and more. You can view everything in Todd's video below.
