Kudos to Dan Campbell on bringing in offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and kudos to ownership on paying this guy to stick around. Johnson has been a huge asset to Lion's success offensively and I am so glad he is staying in Detroit.

Getting former Michigan Wolverine defenseman Aidan Hutchinson turned about to be a great decision but he needs more help on the defensive side of the ball. I thought he was going to be too small for the NFL but he proved me wrong and I believe he will only get better especially if he gets surrounded by more high-level players on defense.

The Lions made a bold move in hiring three-time NFL coach John Fox as a senior defensive assistant which was what he was doing last season for the Indianapolis Colts. Fox formerly coached the Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, and most recently the Chicago Bears. Fox lead both the Panthers and the Broncos to Super Bowls. Fox will work to help defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn to get this defense better at stopping the run, quarterback sneaks, and hopefully get the defensive backs as deep as possible with a few of those draft picks and free agent moves.
