Three Detroit Lions to Host Youth Football Camps in West Michigan

As excitement around the Detroit Lions is at an all-time high, how cool would it be for kiddos to get the chance to learn directly from three star players?

Well, coming up in 2025, West Michigan youngsters will have the opportunity to do just that!

Lions Players to Host Youth Football Camps in West Michigan in 2025

Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, and running back David Montgomery are all hosting youth sports camps throughout the state next year.

For West Michigan, here are the dates, players, and locations:

• April 27, 2025 - Amon Ra St. Brown - Houseman Field, 162 Houseman Ave NE, Grand Rapids - 9a.m. to 1p.m.
• May 30, 2025 - David Montgomery - Parchment High School, 1916 East G Avenue, Parchment - 5p.m. to 9p.m.
• July 12, 2025 - Jameson Williams - Parchment High School, 1916 East G Avenue, Parchment - 9a.m. to 1p.m.

Other Michigan football camp locations include Lansing, Bloomfield Hills, Saginaw, and Pontiac.

What to Expect at Detroit Lions Youth Sports Camps

According to organizers FlexWork Sports Management, at each camp the Lions player along with coaches will "provide your child with valuable football knowledge and hands-on instruction in a fun, high-energy, positive environment."

Activities include lectures, fundamental skill stations, contests, and awards.

Campers are asked to come ready to play in athletic clothes and shoes. Organizers say that kids ages 6-16 of all skill levels are welcome.

Each camper will get a photo with the Detroit Lion hosting the event, a limited-edition T-shirt, and take home items from event sponsors (if available).

Cost of Detroit Lions Football Camp

The cost of youth football camp with either Lions' Williams, St. Brown, or Montgomery is listed as $149.99 per camper plus fees at this time.

The website notes "prices are scaled and subjective to increase based on availability".
