Cheers! New Distillery and Tasting Room Opens in Southwest Michigan
A family-owned brewery has opened a new craft distillery in southwest Michigan.
Back in 2014, homebrewers Kevin and Michael Christensen opened Final Gravity Brewing Company in Decatur. Today you'll find 9 to 12 beers on tap at the taproom located at 103 N. Phelps St., plus a menu that includes appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and specialty pizzas.

You can find Final Gravity beer in multiple locations, including at Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo. The pair did open a location in Kalamazoo in 2017, but it has since closed.
The father and son's latest venture is Decatur Stillhouse, just a few doors down from the brewery.
With a soft opening at the end of July, Decatur Stillhouse officially opened to the public August 9.
The distillery produces a variety of spirits with locally sourced ingredients, including bourbon, whiskey, gin, vodka, and rum.
