Counterfeit $20 Bills Circulating Around West Michigan [Video]

Police in West Michigan say it's a good idea to check your wallet for counterfeit $20 bills. WZZM-13 reports that the fake bills have turned up at restaurants, gas stations, stores, and garage sales in Zeeland and throughout Ottawa County.

According to a Facebook post by Zeeland police, the bills feel real, but have the word "copy" printed on them.

Anyone who comes across a fake bill should contact local law enforcement. Zeeland police say the U.S. Secret Service is aware of the fake bills and is investigating.
